Anthony Cragg, one of the renowned artist and sculptor, has played a vital role in the development of modern art. Anthony Cragg's sculptures and work of art have influenced the modern generation and have also left the viewers mesmerized.

Early Life of Anthony Cragg:
Anthony Cragg, the famous architect was born in Liverpool in the year 1949. Since 1966 to 1968, Cragg was associated with National Rubber Producers Research Association. In 1968 he got admission at Gloucestershire College of Art. Later on he completed his graduation in 1973 from Wimbledon School of Arts. In 1977, he completed post graduation from Royal College of Art. In 1976 Anthony Cragg settled down at Wuppertal, where he started exhibition of his work of art. From 1978 to1988 he worked at Kunstakademie in Dusseldorf.
Solo Exhibitions of Anthony Cragg:
From 1979 to 2007, Cragg's work was exhibited in various museums. In 1979, his solo exhibitions was organized at Lisson Gallery at London, Kunstlerhaus Weidenallee in Hamburg and Lutzowstrasse Situation at Berlin.

In 1980, his sculptures were exhibited at different art galleries and museums at Bristol, Milano, Genova, Napoli, London and Dusseldorf.
In 1981, his solo exhibition was hosted at Whitechapel Art Gallery in London, Schellmann and Kluser at Munich. In 1982 apart from his exhibitions at Lyon and Paris, his arts were also showcased at Tokyo and New York. In 1984, his art exhibition was organized in different parts of the world including Toronto, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Denmark, Holland and Paris. Till date world famous galleries and exhibitions have hosted Anthony Cragg's solo exhibition. In 2007, Cragg's sculptures have been showcased at Stiflung Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum, Marion Goodman Gallery at New York, Galleria Sculptor at Helsinki. From 1975 till date group exhibitions of his sculptures were organized at the famous gallery along with the work of art of some eminent sculptors.

Awards
Anthony Cragg has received various awards and honors for his wonderful pieces of art. In 1988, he was honored Professorship of Dusselfdorf Academy. Ten years later in 1998, he became the winner of Turner Prize. More recently in 2002, he was awarded biannual Piepenbrock Award for his marvelous sculptures.
